About the Support category

Having trouble setting up or using your IoTaWatt? The first step, and probably the fastest, is to consult the documentation. There you’ll find detailed step-by-step to get your IoTaWatt running and configured. There’s also a troubleshooting section that might help you identify and remedy one of the common situations that can arise.

If you can’t find the answer there, try searching this forum. Chances are you are not the first to have any particular issue. Often there’s more than one way to resolve and you may get insight into the most appropriate action for your situation.

Should your question remain unanswered, by all means post it here with a brief but descriptive heading. I’ll do my best to keep after the questions and work out a solution.

Hi Bob

I have layed out my own schematic and PCB.

I copied the V5 schematic.

I bought unit from Smart Guy plugged into my 14 CT LIGHT BULB ( 80W halogen bulb 240VAC ) it reads correct current and PF (power factor ) of 1.

I put the same ESP32 from bought Smart Guys into my PCB and all the vales are the same EXEXPT
power factor is 0.98 on same test jig.

I have programmed another 3 ESP32 boards and the same result.

Can any body help?

I did try to change value of Burden resistors on software but same result

Thanks
Dominic
