Has anyone used IO for a load calculation?

I’m interested in adding an electric dryer to an apartment and I’m wondering if Iotawatt tracks the kind of data needed to see if the current panel could accommodate the additional load. Where I live, the standard approach is to follow a pro forma calculation (waiting for numbers from an electrician) but the Code also allows “actual load” data when available.

Thanks.

Are you thinking of the main supply/fuses?

If so, then yes…

…provided you have records of measuring the incoming supply and the supply cable isn’t under sized for the fuses (unlikely)

If you are thinking of repurposing an existing cable run or adding a drier to an existing circuit then no. The cable has to be sized for the expected load.
