How much load does the qeury api put on IOTAWATT?

Bob,

I have an IOTAWATT with 12 of the 14 channels used - currenly i run 3 queries every minute

Give me the 1 minute average for 4 of the outputs
Give me the 5 minute average for 4 of the outputs
Give me the 15 minute average for 4 of the outputs.

I then use Node-red red to present a dashboard for me.

If i want to run another query say every 10 seconds for one of the outputs is this going to load down the IOTAWATT too much and make it start missing samples ?

Those are trivial queries that shoud have no impact at all on sampling or any other function. Ten second frequency same thing.

You can watch the cycle sample rate in the status display to see the impact any external activity has on the sampling.

Excellent thanks - exactly what i wanted to now.

Now to work out how to dynamically change the battery charging levels with my new inverters !
