AC reference transformer plugged into a power bar?

Hello,

I just received my IoTaWatt and I was not able to find an answer in the Docs website to my question below.

Can I plug both the AC reference transformer and the USB power supply into the same power bar?

If the AC reference transformer must be plugged directly into an outlet, can I plug a power bar into the other receptacle of the same outlet? The USB power supply and other devices would then plug into this power bar.

The name Reference Transformer makes me wonder if more thought should be given to how it’s plugged in.

It’s fine to plug both into a power strip.
