Anything in the wind re Home Assistant?

I know this is not the place for Home Assistant support, but thought knowledge here may help me make a decision.

I am aware of the dispute about unique names and have chosen to use the integration by Kuralabs. IoTaWatt integration by Kuralabs. I note that there has not been activity for 18 months.

Recently I have been getting a few error messages at random times “Nothing to query, update() called too soon, must wait {timespan}”

So advice please. Stick with Kuralabs, back to Core, or there is another fork, with recent activity. IoTaWatt integration by Qoke.

My requirements are basic. Losing history would be a nuisance but no real drama. Outputs can be recreated in HA.

I’ve gone back to core.

Still get the occasional error at midnight. List index out of range error in iotawatt · Issue #125038 · home-assistant/core · GitHub

Also either the integration or the API returns incorrect values occasionally, IoTaWatt integration reporting incorrect values · Issue #116095 · home-assistant/core · GitHub

Neither of the issues are show-stoppers and my energy tracking is usually within a couple of percent of my monthly bill.

Thanks Tom. I just had a fresh look at the issues reported on the core integration and there has been a bit of recent activity. There is yet another forked version.
Reading the different issues I am still a bit confused so will defer changing for now.
