Appliance Load Exceeding Total Input Power

Hi There,

I have my system up and running.
I first connected CT’s to my incoming mains and my Heat Pump but I’m seeing something that I cannot explain and hoping someone can help.
It would appear that the power consumed by my heat Pump exceeds the total power input coming in on my Mains. How can this be?

The Blue and Green lines are my mains stacked and the Red line is my Heat Pump. Heat Pump consumption appears to exceed the total power coming into the house ???

Click setup->inputs and post a screenshot. Should look like this

Here’s the screen shot requested.
Please ignore HeatPump2… HeatPump1 CT is on 1 of the 240volt legs and is set to Double…

Are you sure that you are using ECS24200 CTs? The CT model is usually printed right on the CT.

Here’s a pic of the CT for the HeatPump
I looked in the manual for a way to match physical CT’s to CT’s in the configuration drop down list but couldn’t find any. I suspect this is the problem but I can’t really tell which CT to select for the different CT’s I received in my shipment???

That photo shows a 100A CT, if I am reading the label correctly. So, you should select the correct 100A CT,instead of a 200A CT, in the configuration drop down menu.

Your MAIN feeds should use 200A CTs, most likely.

Not sure what else you might need to matcth the CT to the dropdown list.
