I recently bought and installed my IoTaWatt and love it. During the install I came to the conclusion that I want to install a second one on my subpanel, however the kit comes with 200A CTs which I won’t need on the sub panel, but for the sake of utilizing all of the inputs, could I just use the 200A CT in place of a 100A CT?
Yes, they work fine. I use them on a panel that is typically running at 1KW or less, but can go to as much as 6-7KW on each leg.
