My kitchen is on 4 different circuits and I’d like to monitor them as a whole to preserve IoTaWatt inputs. Is there any reason I can’t combine all 4 into one headphone input via 3 splitters?
You can combine with headphone splitters, but be aware that each CT must be oriented properly for its side of the split phase, and the total actual amps should not exceed the capacity of the individual CTs used.
You can also simply pass all of the wires through one or two (combined) CTs.
Thanks! All 4 or on the same side and next to each other in the panel, so I’ll try one CT first and go from there.
