Is there a simple way to measure DC current through IotaWatt? Not with CT I guess. I would like to monitor a battery system.

Short answer is no. The hardware can measure DC voltage up to 3.3V with the burden resistor removed, so depending on the current you want to measure, it’s technically feasible to measure the voltage drop across a shunt resistor. The software has no provision for measuring or recording DC voltages and that is the biggest hurdle.
Though not really up on all the technologies available, I’ve come across various transducers that can measure DC current.
I believe there are some active DC projects on the OEM forum.
