ECS36600 600A Echun CT Settings

Hello!

I’m using a 600A (!) CT and would like to confirm my “generic” settings. I am in Australia (50Hz).

The CT is a split core Echun unit with standard leads and TVS diode:

  • ECS36600
  • 600A/50mA
  • Random codes: 2038, L59C

I found a similiar one in the tables:

And so think I should use these settings:

  • Turns = 600/0.050 = 12000
  • Phase = 0.1 (?)

I’m unable to pre-test, so can you confirm these are the right settings?

Hi Brett,
The turns should be correct. In general, those larger Echun CTs exhibit very minimal shift, so 0.1 should be fine.
