Frequent restart after recent firmware upgrade

Dear community, for some reason my system has become quite unstable for the past 2 weeks since the latest firmware upgrade to 2_08_02. The unit would either become non-responsive (unreachable via HTTP) or restart itself for no reason, and sometimes it needs multiple restarts to get it to function again. Has anyone encountered similar behaviour?

I doubt this is caused or related to the firmware upgrade which happened on March 3. It seems to be related to the datalog and also to your integrator grid.

Can I see the status display with all tabs expanded?

You might try deleting and recreating the grid integrator. If that doesn’t work, you will probably need to delete the integrator, delete the datalogs, and then recreate the integrator.

Nothing to see here, so it suggests the datalog is bad. But there is something else. You said the problem started two weeks ago and this release of firmware was pushed out more than three weeks ago.

Are you using home assistant? If so, when did that start, and did you install a new version? a couple of weeks ago?

The log shown some of the restarts coming from updating the datalog, but there also some where it is doing a query. That’s how Home Assistant gets its data, and I’ve seen a few incidences of problems like this associated with the newer version of Home Assistant. So, if you are using HA, could you stop the IoTaWatt integration and see if the IoTaWatt becomes more stable.

Yes, I’m using HA integration. I recently upgraded my HA to the latest version, but the behaviour was there before the HA upgrade.

Maybe I should just try deleting the datalogs? If so, which ones are to be deleted? thx!

You must first delete the integrator, then the datalogs, then recreate the integrator.

Will delete the datalogs, but first, can you try stopping the HA integration to see if it settles down? I don’t know what they did to the integration, but you are not the first HA user reporting these kinds of problems.

After deleting the integrator, datalogs, and recreating the integrator, I still encountered the same behaviour with or without HA. It would run for a while, then just becomes unreachable via HTTP. I’d either get a 404 response of “Not found: GET, URI: /” or a timeout without any response. Please advise if there’s anything else I can try to troubleshoot this problem. thanks!

Looks like SDcard. There are jumbled entries in the message log.
