Hey guys…
I am having a bit of trouble with my IoTaWatt setup and could use some guidance. I have been using the device to monitor power usage in my home for a few months now and it has generally worked great. However, recently I started noticing some inconsistencies in the data that it’s reporting, particularly with the real-time power usage.
Here’s what’s happening: the IoTaWatt appears to be working fine, with all the lights showing the normal operation, but the data displayed on the IoTaWatt local interface and what I see on the EmonCMS dashboard don’t seem to match up. For example, the total power usage shown on the IoTaWatt’s web interface is consistently higher than what is being reported on EmonCMS. This difference wasn’t there when I first set it up, so I’m not sure what changed.
I’ve tried a few things already:
- I’ve checked all the connections to make sure they’re secure, and they appear to be fine.
- I’ve restarted the IoTaWatt device and also reloaded the EmonCMS inputs and feeds, but the inconsistency persists.
- I’ve also verified that both the IoTaWatt and EmonCMS are set to the same time zone, so it shouldn’t be a synchronization issue.
I’m wondering if there’s a specific step I might be missing, or if there are some diagnostics I can run to identify the root cause of this issue. Has anyone else experienced similar discrepancies between the IoTaWatt and EmonCMS readings? I also check this: https://community.iotawatt.com/t/iotawatt-with-commercial-energy-monitorinmendix But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this?
Thanks in advance!
