Just a quick note to say that my Iotawatt saved me from losing a day’s worth of detailed data from my PV system.
I had some electrical work done the other day, and the repeated switch-on/switch-off of the power must have upset my local emonPi, without my noticing. The Pi does data graphing and storage but no actual logging itself, but it’s the centre of a web of sensors. All the other sensors feeding it were just stuck trying to connect, but once I’d rebooted the Pi, the Iotawatt starts recounting all the data it’s gathered since it last connected. 10 minutes later, there’s a day’s worth of production, neatly recorded.
An excellent bit of kit all round!
