The problem with that is developing an expanded enclosure and maintaining safety and regulatory certifications for multiple products.
My current thinking is to make using two or more 14 channel units work seamlessly as one. The ESP32 has the horsepower, communications, and faster SD to accomplish that.

Also not sure about the regulatory and safety you mentioned. Can u please provide a quick overview of the issues?

The ESP32 is in the proof of concept stage. It’s a long way from a product.
Regulatory is testing and certification for FCC and CE RED directive. Safety certification is ETL certification and ongoing inspections and fees for using their mark - both US and Canada. They have it, they know you need it…
It’s too bad that is a long way from product:(
I think it would be a nice option as I would like to have a consolidated sensing unit with a unified GUI to go with it.
