NodeMCU version

Hello.

It is quite difficult to get ESP12S with CP2102 onboard.
Do you think that the below (no CP2102 there) would be OK?

You probably can make it work, but there are other considerations.

ESP8266 nodeMCU comes in two form factors. One is wider than the other (+0.1inch) so PCB must be adjusted.

You can use ESP12E. The reason IoTaWatt uses ESP12S is because it has FCC. number printed on it, which is a requirement for part B compliance. You probably are not concerned with that.

I am aware of the size matter.
The module I’ve mentioned seems to have a proper size - according to the data sheet (attached).
