Question about the kits

Hello.

Regarding the kits.
IoTaWatt Kit 230V consists (among other things) of:
…

  • Mains Current Sensor (1 x 100A)
  • (3) 100A Split-core current transformers for Mains or branch circuits
    …

Are those 4 devices of 2 different types (current sensor, current transformer) or are those 4 devices of exactly the same type and only the name might be misleading for a newbie?

That’s a typo. The kit included 3x100A and 1x50A. While these kits are out of stock, the site will be changing to offer more flexibility in selecting CTs.
