Hi,
I’m in the middle of a home renovation and need to buy a new 200A panel. Does anyone have any recommendations on selecting a panel that would provide enough space for IoTaWatt? And maybe a good smaller box to hold the device?
Looking at the installation photos I see I need 3 AC power adapters. Can I use an outlet with a built-in USB port for the 5V power to save space? Something like this?

Thanks!
USB ports in the outlet are for chargers. I recommend you use a plug in power supply as provided in the kit for guaranteed clean power.
I would think you would have other important criteria for panel selection so my advice is just be sure you have room to put CTs on the mains and branch circuits. There are a few panels out there that integrate the meter socket and breakers with buss bars to the mains and no place to put the main CTs - something to avoid.
I have always liked the orbit sprinkler control box for mounting IoTaWatt. You will see several installations in the forum that use it. It has a convenient duplex receptacle and enough room for the IoTaWatt.
