I have used energyhive and PVOutput to monitor my power generation and consumption for many years. As Energyhive is not available any longer I am after a replacement.
Question: Can I use my existing CT’s on the IoTaWatt system?
Practically speaking no. I have no idea the type (mV or mA) or the turns ratio. It’s possible they could be used with modifications to the IoTaWatt but would require testing, calibration and modification. If they are 333mV, a common variety, the architecture of IoTaWatt doesn’t allow for full range measurement.
