Hi, I originally had Smappee home monitor but I received the IoTaWatt as a gift. I am wondering if I would be able to convert the Smappee sensors to work with IoTaWatt?

Their CTs are the same basic dimensions and capacities as pretty much everyone else, but unlike IoTaWatt, Smappee is not an open design, so the output specifications are not published. If you send me one I’ll be happy to examine it and make that known.
What would be the best way to swap info with you? And can you confirm you will ship it back to me once you are done with testing?

I would not return the CT. I keep a sample of everything that I test. I’ll send you the address in a PM in the event that those terms are acceptable.
