Hi, I believe I have the SD card problem and I want to replace the SD card myself but I was wondering if it was safe to just disconnect the CTs from the iotawatt unit without taking them off of the AC lines? All the CTs I have were purchased directly from iotawatt. When I installed the CTs I was careful to always have them connected to the iotawatt first before clipping them around the AC lines but I’m wondering if that is required.
I left them connected and everything was fine. Got a new 32gb SD card running!
Great. The answer is that you can leave the AccuCTs and Echun CTs unplugged because they have diodes to short them when unplugged.
