Selling my home with IoTaWatt installed

Hi all,

I have two IoTaWatts installed in my home that I’m getting ready to put on the market. I’m planning to leave the IoTaWatts installed for the next homeowner.

What steps should I do to prepare it so the next owner can use it? Ideally I’d like to leave it configured so they don’t have to name and configure all the CTs. But it’s configured to connect to my WiFi SSID which the new homeowner of course won’t have.

I’m sure I can just factory reset it and try to leave some printed instructions on how to configure the 28 channels. There’s also 5 years of historical data that I guess I should purge. Just thought I’d ask if anyone here knew of anything else I should consider before I disconnect my router and lose access to these units.

Follow instruction to reset WiFi to defaults.

New owner should follow instructions for a new connection.

Because you have two units, their names have probably been changed. Note to new user that the password to connect to the AP will be the device names.
