I have recently installed a Sigenergy Battery system and I am not understanding what I am seeing with my results. My electricity supply is 3 phase. Looking at the wiring in my old main fuse box This is how I would describe it.
3 phases come in through fuses & main switch. They have been cut after the master switch, joined and go to the Sigenergy Gateway. The gateway is where the battery, solar panels and other magical wiring is done so the system can run off grid if wanted or charge the batteries from the grid.
From the gateway I then have 3 phase wiring coming back to the old power box. Here the 3 phase wiring goes to various circuits breakers.
3 phase Air conditioner, 3 phase connection to my shed and then the phases split up to various circuits- Power (3 of), Lights ( 3 of), Stove & Heated Floor.
There is also an off peak hot water system that is not linked into the Sigenergy System. It is wired off one of the phases that come in before the Sigenergy gateway. Obviously the power meters are in there as well. I can include them if more details needed.
I have placed 3 CT clamps on the incoming power lines prior to any meters and the master switch.
I have then placed CT clamps around the 3 wires for my 3 phase circuits (Air Con & Shed). I then used the remaining CT clamps on the remaining circuits. All these are after the related circuit breakers. I also ensured that the CT clamp indicating direction was away from the circuit breakers towards the house.
Ok, so my concerns, issues or misunderstandings.
- I ensured that each of the units is not set up for reverse and can accept negative values. I do not understand why I am getting readings showing the little anti-clockwise circle. Thought I had it facing correct way.
- I would not have thought I would have any power readings on the 3 incoming phases as the house was running off the battery at the time.. can anyone explain that to me please.
- The numbers I get for the household consumption from the Sigenergy App vary significantly from the total usage shown by totalling the household consumption circuits.
So, have I wired this up correctly?
The log indicates you installed the IoTaWatt in Nov 2025, apparently before this new battery setup. Did your Grid_Export and Grid_Import correct then? That would verify that your derived reference and CT orientations are correct.
Assuming that came close to your meter, I would next encourage you to setup an integrator on your mains and use that as a basis for looking at the mains. The docs explain why this is necessary.
This sounds like the derived three-phase is not setup correctly.
You state:
Yet I see only one input configured. You would need to use three CTs and three inputs for a three phase appliance. If they are three-wire (no neutral) it is possible to do them with two CTs but better to get it worked out with three first.
Again, sounds like your derived three-phase is not properly setup.
Probably not.
Note:
Posted this before seeing response from Overeasy. I have changed all my 3 phase items to using 3 CTs.

Well I have given up on this after a night of thinking about my system. I have my data coming in from the Sigenergy Battery/Gateway so why duplicate it. Therefore I have moved all my CT units to measure the consumption of power within my house.
Though, not sure this is working as well as the more I look at it the dumber I feel.
As can be seen from the above image the AC is showing a negative on AC_White. This may well be my ignorance as to how the system works but I need to add all the AC inputs together as positive values to get close to the power the AC is consuming.
With the Power1/2 circuits I have no idea why they are displaying the reverse circle icon - I have checked and the CTs are correctly oriented.
I have also done some outputs to try to understand the power usage from the circuit breakers. My OPHWS is seperate from my Sigenergy system so is not included here.
Though when I do the All_Circuits addition I am about 100 watts out when the AC is not working but about 1kw, sometimes more, when it is going. I am going to reset the data and start from scratch to see how it is going tomorrow.
Also have an issue with OPHWS but need to catch it whilst it is going to give real data.
Time to step away again and regroup.
