Single power supply - 9V AC to 5V DC converter

I would like to eliminate the USB power supply if possible.
Did anyone found good quality AC to DC converter that can reuse the 9V reference voltage?

Not going to get into why but that would probably not work.

Interaction with AC ref? would need isolation?
