@overeasy - I am using the 20 amp CT “AcuCT-H040-20” to get better resolution for low power consumption devices vs using a 50 amp CT. In looking at the table you posted in Aug 2020 with the CT info, I’ve chosen ‘generic’ with 400 turns and Phase lead of 1 (to match the AcuCT-H040-50). Is that reasonable or would the additional calibration detail you show in the table help give more accuracy? Are you still offering to calibrate if I were to send you two samples?
Do they have 50mA output or 333mV?
50mA. I had these built by them to match your 50 amp version but with a slightly longer cable.
Give it a try and see what happens. IMO the results will be no better than the 50A CTs.
I did try and it appears to be working but not sure if phase angle/lead should be different. I’m seeing better than twice the resolution of the 50A version which makes sense to me considering the 12 bit ADC is spread across 20amps versus 50 amps. If you think the Phase Lead is okay I can keep going with the settings I have. Thank you!
