What is wrong with my CT clamp orientation?

Hey folks! Just got the IotaWatt and am doing the initial install right now. I noticed in the UI that it stating that the orientation of my CT clamps are backwards for two inputs, but I am not exactly sure why it is stating that.

It is my understanding that the arrow on the CTs should point in the direction of the source. So for mains it should be the wire direction back to the meter and for any circuits it they should point towards the Load Center.

Am I “backwards” in my thinking?

For split phase they go in opposite directions. You can physically reverse it or you can just click the reverse box in the setup for those two CTs.
