New IoTaWatts In Stock from Circuit IQ in Canada

As of today, Dec. 1, 2025, Circuit IQ has new stock that came in last week of at least 100 IoTaWatt units for $401 plus potential applicable tariffs.

Pricing for both IoTaWatt units and CTs have both improved substantially from the previous Circuit IQ pricing. For example, the previous pricing was $549 for the IotaWatt full kit and $53 for 200A CT.

I asked two questions for which I am still awaiting feedback:

  1. What type of CTs are used? From this, the preference given is “AccuEnergy (0.5%), Echun (1%), then YHDC”. Hopefully they are AccuEnergy.

  2. What is the PCB version? I noticed that Bob posted a 5.1 version to Github recently, but was wondering if the current release version is 6.X?

They are building the v6.4. This has been in the works for awhile with the same manufacturing test equipment and ETL certification which was transferred to Canada, taking more time than it should have and held things up for a couple of months.

I believe they are still using Echun CTs which are a premium brand. Switching to AcuEnergy should eliminate the tariff to the USA so that is being investigated.

Will be a more formal notice once things are settled.

The lower left of their website allows selecting currency CAD, USD AUD - so it appears they are prepared to ship to Australia.
